Coronet Peak has splendid views, night skiing and is a family favourite with its wide open, roller coaster runs. Intermediate – advanced skiers and snowboarders will also have steeper slopes and off-piste areas to enjoy. Coronet also has an extensive snowmaking system, which ensures good snow coverage throughout the season, even in years with less natural snowfall. It’s one of the closest ski areas to Queenstown (about 25 minutes drive), making it very convenient for both locals and tourists.
