Shiga Kogen lies in the Johshinetsu Kogen National Park, and is the largest interconnected ski area in Japan, made up from 21 well linked resorts. With a high point of 2300m, Shiga enjoys a long season and the finest powder snow in the Nagano region. This massive terrain caters well for all levels, with plenty of off-piste areas to explore for anyone looking for more challenging action. The National Park also houses the famous Jogokudani Snow Monkey Park, a favourite for all visitors to Japan.
