Alta is one of the oldest ski resorts in America. It is a ski only mountain and proud of its heritage with a strong hard-core ski community, but new skiers will always be welcomed. It is a beautiful mountain with over 2200 acres of varied terrain, most suited to intermediate and advanced skiers. On offer is some of the best off-piste skiing in America, including great chutes, tree runs and powder bowls to satisfy everyone. Traditional accommodation in ski lodges at the base village can be found, including restaurants and bars. All resolute skiing families, groups, and individuals alike, must ski Alta at least once in their life. But you just might get hooked and join its community of dedicated and proud skiers.
