Charmonix Ski Resort

Chamonix on Mont Blanc is another Alps wonder made up of six resorts of varied and critically steep terrain with amazing views. It is a huge area built around the 4810m Mont Blanc and has a reputation for extreme runs with regular hardcore skiers and snowboarders taking on its many critical slopes, cliffs ,deep powder terrain and glacier runs. But do not fret, beginners and intermediate can also enjoy its spectacular landscape and find enjoyable terrain. Chamonix was the first host of the Winter Olympic Games and has a rich history. There is plenty of accommodation for all budgets, all within good access of the central village by foot or shuttle. Many fine restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops are in, and around the village.
