Jackson Hole Ski Resort

Jackson Hole experiences a lot of prime powder days, with its famous steep and challenging terrain a beacon to many hardcore skiers and snow boarders alike. On weekends and whenever the snow is dumping it can get mighty crowded. Midweek when the powder is not epic, the crowds are much lower. The mountain comprises 2500 acres of terrain and 1260m of vertical rise. Off-piste areas are the call card of Jackson Hole with some spectacular steep and rocky scenery as the mountain soars out of the the Snake River Valley. Jackson Hole aka “The Big One” will leave a strong impression on all. Start your day by riding the 100-passenger tram for 9 min from the base to over 1260m where all levels of skiers and snow boarders can begin searching out their desired runs. Ski-in/ski-out accommodation can be found in Teton Village, including some more budget friendly choices. Some prefer to stay in the Jackson Hole town for a livelier scene, with regular free shuttles running to the mountain. Jackson Hole is an unforgettable experience.
