Snowbird Ski Resort

Snowbird is the home to consistent dry ‘Wasatch’ powder. It has a large and varied terrain suitable for all levels of skier and snowboarder. There are numerous local hardcore riders, that regularly devour some of the many and most challenging deep powder runs to be found in America. The views from the mountain are breathtaking and for skiers there is the option to take a combined Alta (ski only) and Snowbird ticket, with the resorts fully interconnected now. Unfortunately, snowboarders are not allowed on Alta though. Regardless, Snowbird itself has plenty of terrain and owns a mythical reputation as the mecca of powder skiing in America. Accommodation options are not high end, but you will be able to find more than comfortable accommodation in several ski lodges at the base of the mountain. Snowbird is the undoubtedly the home of serious skiing and snowboarding, rivalling the likes of Jackson Hole. It will not disappoint.
