MARMOT BASIN, JASPER
MARMOT BASIN, JASPER
Jasper (Marmot Basin) is around 20 minutes outside of the town of Jasper. Summer is the peak season here because of its spectacular scenery and natural wonders. Winter is the low season and luckily too. Reason being the relatively uncrowded 1500 acres of superb snow and terrain sitting at 3000 vertical feet. The long-groomed runs, steep chutes, and bowls with premium dry snow does not hurt either. Accommodation is available in the downtown Jasper area to suit all budgets, as well numerous restaurants, bars, and shops. People who are serious about skiing and snowboard at a perfect location, keep coming back to Jasper.
